My ST60 Tri Data Depth readings seem to be somewhat accurate when under power, but when moored in my well show at least 15 feet deeper than actual water depth. Anybody else ever have this issue? I am not sure if it is the transducer, or the display causing the issue. I believe my transducer is mounted inside the bilge and not a thru hull design. (2002, 340 Sundancer).
Thanks for any input!!

Two things come to mind:
1. Make sure there's no obstruction (bottom paint/bottom growth) blocking the reading for the transducer.
2. If #1 checks out fine try doing re-calibration.

P.S. you can always call RM tech support and ask for their suggestions.

Have you considered one of your "neighbours" have their depth gauge turned on? That can give noise. The other thing that can give issues is if you are close to a wall - where the wall can reflect the "beams" from the transducer.

The last thing to check is your transducer. I do not think it is in-hull. Most SR uses through hull for Depth Gauges. They need to be cleaned from time to time - and painted with transducer (water based) anti fouling paint.
