I installed an S100 remote for the Raymarine Auto pilot and it worked great for two cruises. Last time out it just stopped changing coarse upon left or right commands. It is still talking to the auto pilot base as it will switch from Standby to Auto. Anyone experience this? There is no mention of this condition in trouble shooting section of the manual.
Thanks

Mine stopped working last summer also same symptoms
I never looked into it as I changed the AP to Furuno.
Seems like it could be a common problem.

Can you still feel "the button push"? Those are those blister type buttons. If "mashed too hard or too much" they can wear out. On my key fob for my car, to change the batteries, you separate the fob into two halves. I can see the buttons under there. Worth a look....?

They are not blister buttons and when they are pushed the display actually shows an arrow in the direction selected just no response from the auto pilot. The remote is only about three months old so not a wear issue. Ill call technical support tomorrow and see if there is a solution.
Thanks

@Carpediem44DB - I suggest you post your problem over at the Raymarine forum (forum.raymarine.com). Chuck from Raymarine was extremely helpful and thorough in responding to all postings with detailed troubleshooting steps or solutions. They have been very helpful to me!

Problem solved! Mark at Ray Marine enlightened me to the possibility that the operator may have inadvertently set the remote to fishing boat mode from powerboat mode. Huh... I wonder how that happened!!!
