Raymarine C80 issue

I have had some issues with my C-80 shutting off intermittingly. At times it stays on, other times it shuts down 1-2 times in a session. When it shuts down it comes right back on and goes thru it's initial satelite search etc. I cannot find any loose connections, has anyone had similar issues with their C-80

Sounds like it must be a power issue. They are sensitive to low power. If my batteries get run down, mine will shut down and restart if I start the engine on that battery bank. Make sure you run a high gauge power feed wire to it as well so you don't get voltage loss over the distance of wire run.

Turn it off, remove the memory card. Restart it without the card and see if it does it again. If it doesn't do it, you have a bad card or connection at the port.

Mine reboots when I start the port engine if I turn it before the start.....
