Ok. This has me rethinking a complete electronics upgrade. Wow.

Me too! Originally I was planning on going to Simrad since I have used Lowrance/Eagle products most of my life. I especially like that you can add one remote that can control all MPDs. It actually has me wondering if I should go all MFD and replace all my gauges too.

I wouldn't replace gauges, but would certainly consider augmenting with an additional MFD. I have found that I am getting too much information sometimes and it distracts me. I have also found that I am a creature of habit and am use to looking in certain places for certain data. When that data is moved to a different location, it throws me off. It all looks good at the dock, but when you are underway and things get dicy, simpler becomes better and old habits (good or bad) kick in.

I was thinking two Axioms. One where the c80 chart plotter is and one smaller one in the centre of the dash where the useless Tridata is now. Only problem is needing to buy a new radome. Hey it's only money right and if I think about it as spending my kids future inheretence its starting to make perfect sense.

"spending my kids future inheretence"..wait, WAIT, it's YOUR money, you earned it...;)

I'm looking to replace a Raymarine c90w, 9 inch. I'm looking at the pro because it looks like Raymarine makes upgrade bezels to make the job easier. Anyone else looked at this?
