Help, I have a Raymarine A series multi chart/GPS the depth finder is in the instruments and not on gps screen. We have a 8'-10' tidal drop so, I really need alarms and be able to see it better. I would really like to have depth / fish finder working. I would appreciate any advice or solutions.

Hi Kevin,

Welcome to the group. The link above might be helpful, but first you need to tell us a little more about what you have. In particular the make model, or even a picture of your current depth display. While Sea Ray did provide boats with depth gauges, the factory did not usually supply electronics. This was done either through the dealers, or by the first (and later) owners. So a factory depth gauge could very well not be Raymarine. So knowing what you have will help shape the answer to how to get there.

I lived with the same environment with 8-10’ tides with a mooring in a tidal river that at many times of the day was too shallow for us, so I completely agree about having the depth where it can be seen. So get us some more info and we’ll give you some suggestions.
