Radio works great. Even the mic does. But, as you can see, the mic cord is deteriorating. You can get a new one from Raymarine, I'm told. Or make your own. Like I said, the radio itself works quite well. Includes cover. $50 plus the ride.

Steve, you can mail that mic back to Raymarine with $75 and they will replace it for you.

Thanks. But I already replaced it. I'll let the new owner do that. For that $75 and the $50 for this radio, the new Owner will have a really nice VHF!

I hate throwing electronics in the landfill. Especially older ones like this, with lead in the solder and in the components. Surely there's a tree hugger out here that wants to keep this toxic box out of a landfill?

Obviously a long shot bumping a nearly two year old thread, but any chance this radio is still around?

Can you confirm it works? And, where in Northern IL are you? If you're not far from Chicago you may have just made my day.

I pulled it several years ago when I started upgrading my 340 to Garmin stuff. Worked when I pulled it. I just wanted to move to a unit that had AIS and would talk to the GPS.

I live in Algonquin.
