Ray Marine C80 - Night Mode

Did a search on this site, did a general google search, read the quick reference card again.

Can anyone give me a couple of pointers to turn switch between day and night mode on a Ray Marine C80?

Looking for a pointer to the menu options that will lead me into changing modes.

I know that if you press the large knob in it allows you to adjust the brightness of the screen for viwing at noght.

Press the power button. A pop up window will be displayed with the backlight level. Press the palette to switch between day and night.
Use the rotary control to adjust the backlight level. Press OK to return to normal operation.

Yep, that's the procedure. On C-series the night feature is slightly on the bright side and as Bob mentioned, adjustments for backlight might be necessary to make it more dimmed. On E-series the night feature makes it mach darker and no additional adjustments are necessary, at least for me.

thank you all for the quick responses. Wanting to head out tonight, have sworn that I will never ever be in the dark without being able to dim that display. Totally hoses night vision.
