I recently purchased a 1996 190 and have had a heck of a time trying to raise the (2) cushions of the bench seat to be flush with the sundeck. Is there a trick to doing this?
It's difficult to insert the support poles into the cups in the receivers and once
I do I have to wrestle the poles into the bottom support as they miss lining up with the bottom receivers by a good 3" . On the one occasion I did get them in it took me 10 minutes to take them down.
Am I doing something wrong? I've just about given up on it but my wife would really like to be able to use the expanded deck.
