Wondering if there is any way to turn the speakers off inside the cabin but keep them on outside? I can do the opposite by not turning on the amp but I can't figure out how to turn them off inside. A guy next to me has a 340 and he has a switch as you walk up the stairs that turn his on or off but I don't.

I've tried messing with the fader/balance control but everything with the head unit (clarion) operates the speakers inside. They don't seem to control the speakers outside except for the volume.

Thanks
Kenny

On my 2005 300 DA with the clarion system... Using the Fader (rear) is cockpit speakers... (fwd) is cabin speakers. In order for the cockpit speakers to work, I have to turn on the amp in the control cabinet. Dash button powers the entire system on and off.

To have music only in the cockpit with my system, I turn the amp on, and then turn the fader "balance" to full rear. If I want cabin music only, I turn the fader "balance" to full forward and also leave the amp off.

Sounds like yours may be different?
