We have a Raymarine 2kw radar dome that we would like to mount on our 1998 Sea Ray 230 Overnighter. Since we don’t have a radar arch or anything with any height, we would like to use a watersports tower (aluminum arch) that we can mount onto our boat, and mount the radar dome on top of the arch. This, we believe, would get us the height we need, allow us unrestricted movement underneath, and the ability to use out existing canvas. Thoughts? Tips? Other ideas? Thank you!

There was another post recently from someone who wanted to make their own arch. I put a couple of links in that post to companies that make towers in that post. I'll find it when I have a moment. Another company that I just found out makes towers is GG Schmitt - they make some of the OEM parts on some Sundancers.
