Radar arch mounting on 370DA

I am considering buying a 370DA (95-97). The only problem with them is the head clearance at the helm. I am thinking of raising the arch, and possibly tilting it back very slightly to give more head clearance. New tops needed of course.
I am wondering if anyone has put any thought into something like this, and if anyone has any pics of the way the arch is mounted.
There would be some gaps left behind to the hull, and windshield frame. I was thinking of having some SS trim made to cover it.
