Quint4 (Dave Adams) visiting LKN....

I'm sorry Bill, I didn't mean to be a jerk. I thought your directions were funny. Without a doubt completly accurate. I probably wouldn't get lost as much if I followed the markers better. It sounded like a military pilot, giving directions. Sounded cool, but way over my head! Lol

No, I didn't take it that way, reading back it is a little over the top - haha. In reality my navigation is much less sophisticated (left at the red roof house, past the funny looking tree, or the old sailboat that hasn't moved in 10yrs). Still unsure about my boat this weekend, need to check with them tomorrow. The weekend could turn out to be a bust, no boat on Saturday and rain for the race in Martinsville on Sunday.

I will head North at the old tire in the tree near the Mail Pouch barn.

follow him and turn 3 blocks before him:smt001

Dave, how did the visit to LKN go? Were you able to meet with Mike for lunch? Did you get to explore the lake?

Yeah - hope you all got to meet up and had a good time. My boating is over for the year I think - weather has delayed the concrete work at Lake Norman Marina. They were scheduled to be finished last Friday, but they haven't even poured the concrete yet. They close weekends starting Dec 1 and I always winterize by then - I don't see the work getting completed before Thanksgiving, so I think I'm going to throw in the towel for the year. Maybe visit my old buddy Cliff a few times to get me through the winter.

Dave, his family and I did catch up with each other, and ate lunch at The Boathouse.
It was alot of fun. They are great people. I can't wait for them to return and become LKN family.

Bill, sorry to hear your dilemma. If you can't catch up with Cliff, your always welcome to catch a ride with me.

Good to hear you guys had a good lunch.....if/when we get back to the boat maybe we all can meet up for a cruise....we are still dealing with family matters.....not sure right now how much longer.....

and to make things worse my work is going through massive changes in its computer systems and has blocked access to CSR so now I'll have to wait until evenings to catch up....might be able to sneak a peak on my smart phone during the day....

Good times with Mike at Boathouse! Weather was not great.

It rained HARD non-stop in Charlotte for Monday Night Football. We got wet....real wet.

Managed a pic of Mike's house from the ole rental pontoon:

.....and then I pinched myself and woke up. Lol

Cliff, when your ready man. I try to cruise during the winter months. Hopefully this year won't be so cold.

Dave, sorry you came so far to watch your Colts take a whoopin. Y'all did have a good comeback in the fourth, I got concerned we might choke....."keep pounding"! Lol
