We WB genny owners know they can be fussy at times. Over the years I have learned how to start them in cold weather. Just wait for the engine room to heat up from running your mains for a while before attempting a cold genny start. We used our boat for the first time this year three weeks ago and I tried to start the genny in our slip. It was a cool spring day with water temps in the 50s. No luck at all. So we went for a ride. Once the engine room was fully warm, the genny fired right up. After the first start of the year, WBs are easier to start when they have had proper maintenance and ambient temps are higher. My experience is they don't like cold, sort of like older English and Italian sports cars.
