Quick release chocks

Will get all of them out today. I used mine yesterday at Fairview Beach, VA. Worked perfectly. Swim platform was basically a room dropped down close to the water all day. Made getting off and on the Jet Ski a lot easier. Also, due to the height of my platform in the up position, the rub rail of the jet ski was impacting the the swim platform below the rub rail of platform. By lowering the platform to water level, the rub rails matched up. Without chocks in place all day, there was no tripping hazard. Right before we left Fairview, I slapped the chocks back on, loaded the jet ski, and away we went. I think you guys will really like the product.

received mine today and won't get to test them likely till this weekend but very much looking forward to it.

@Morgan Jane
Checking on an ETA for mine?
Thank you
Will let you know when I ship them. Just like everything else these days, I had a hard time(and still have it) getting a critical component machined. In order to not have this issue in the future (which doesn't really help you), I did a 14 hour round trip yesterday to Toledo, Ohio and back to pick up more raw materials. Not going to make another promise and miss the ship date again but, I do hope to ship yours on Thursday.

Not a rush but hoping mine is in that batch going out on Thursday?

Yes, yours will be in the batch that goes out. Just had a long talk with Machine shop. They are on track now. They are good guys and do a great job. Their products tolerances are absolutely accurate and spot on. Quality versus Quantity. I go with Quality every time. Yours should go out on Thursday. Worst case Friday.

Your hard work is very appreciated and mine look like a work of ART and I cannot wait to use them. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.

Got mine on today and they fit great so far. I am still trying to get mine to work like the video where one turn and you’re done. Perhaps it takes a bit of practice.

Should take a half turn to tighten. The first time it may take a couple turns, but you loosen just enough for release bar to rotate when you remove. Then the next time you install, it’s just a half turn. Please let me know if you have any issues. I used the pair I sent you for a weekend. Should be good to go.

I think it’s me just learning. I had to loosen them enough to get the bar down in the track. Even still, these will be much easier to get in and off vs stock for sure.

love it l!

Something to keep in mind is that I’ve noticed that the stop bolts for the old system tend to cause burrs inside the track and the burrs might be interfering with the rotation of your t-locks? The burrs coupled with corrosion are what sometimes made the factory system hard to slide and remove. You’ll notice that I now offer the platform extrusion for sale. Depending on the severity of your burrs, you should be able to use a dremel tool to clean yours up. I’m thinking about replacing my platform extrusions when boat is on the hard pan this year. Thanks for the interest.

Just wanted to report back on my experience with this setup. So far very happy. When I first tried on my tracks they did not fit. Tried on friends boat of the same vintage and they dropped right in so I figured my tracks probably needed some tuning. I took a file and spent about 20 mins per side cleaning up the tracks and bam!..they dropped right in. Removal and drop in is breeze and they lock securely enough so no worries there. Great mod for a clear platform.
