Robbie;

the 240DA is no speed deamon at best you might be able to get her up to 39/40MPH if she is empty, have the bimini's down and are on a prefectly flat bodie of water. normally I run between 24/28 MPH. the speed to me doesn't matter as much as running in the 3500 to 3700 RPM which seems to be the optimal fule burn for the boat. About 2.5 MPG.

If the Boat was outfitted for the UK market you should not be affriad to plug here in. goo ahead plug here in with all the fuse positions off. then go to the fuse panel and check that you have a green light (correct polarity (VERY Important - you get this wrong and you blown a bunch of fuses)) once the green light is on turn on the A/C inverter to charge the batteries and turn on the Air Conditioning if you are in the water. It wont work out of the water and it won't work on battery power.
