Question for Boaters around Barnegat Bay

Unfortunately the Marina Grill is NOT what it used to be. We used to go there 2 times a week in the Summer. It was great and right next to our marina. Now we just stay away. What a shame.
 
Sorry to say, but I agree with Bridog regarding the Marina Grill - used to be a great place to take a nite cruise to - from Barnegat Bay.. The place has completely changed - to bad...

New chef and menu. Mostly finger type stuff. Seems to cater more to the younger bar crowd now. Only average food, slow service, dirty bathrooms, etc, etc. My wife and I really used to love this place. What a great location too. Could be a real gold mine with the right people.
 
I wouldn't recommend Clarks Landing's restaurant to anyone. Since the original restaurant was closed and moved to the building next door, in my opinion, quality of food has decreased. Used to be a great restaurant.....no longer. Steep pricing too.
My two cents.
 
Oh come on guys, who cares if the food is good and how far you have to go for it? This is boating, man. The sky's the limit - money is no object! According to the administration, we're all dirty rotten filthy stinkin' rich - so don't be a skinflint - spend and keep spending -stimulate the economy, and tip everyone along the way with Franklins! :lol:

Ya'all awe ta com dawn to Mott's Crik Inn.
Come into Little Egg Harbor Bay from Barnegat and then continue on the ICW into Great Bay towards AC. When you get to 139 marker head North. Run a few hundred yards off the marshes on the West side and look for Mott's Creek on the Chart.
In season this place is hoppin. Very limited dockage. Great food. And oh yeah, its got a whole bunch of Bra's hanging from the ceiling. Something about Wednesday night is Ladies Night.
 
Ok Matt, you got me. I'm combing the chart (12316) looking for Motts Creek and I can't find it. What shore is it on or is it up the Great Egg Harbor River? Following your directions and heading north from ICW #139 I see Big Sheepshead Creek, Jenny Creek, and Big Creek, but that whole area looks to be uninhabited.

Hey Ron. Where do you get your charts from?
 
Who cares about going out to dinner... The best day at the Jersey Shore is to tie up with Ron's Gang at secret spot and go boat to boat stealing food and drinks:smt038... Stow away has the best shrimp and finger food:thumbsup:... Eric has an unlimited supply of Whiskey:smt101... The water is deep, the kids are busy, and company is great... And it take less than 20 gallons of gas to get there and back from almost anywhere on the barnegat.. 2 gallon's for Dom... I can't tell you where the secret spot is... otherwise it would not be a secret...

Our fearless leader Capt Ron is most modest... When I ask "the gang" to raft up one or two boats show up... When Capt Ron sends the word out, at least 10 boats come... Maybe it is because I steal everyone's food and drinks :huh:... Capt Ron is our leader, by default... BTW to answwer Ron's question:
