New here to site. I have a 1987 268 Weekender that my wife and I recently purchased. The boat is in awesome condition inside and out :smt038. The interior is dated and my wife has just purchased some new fabric to reupholster the dinette. The problem is we can't seem to see how the bench seats are to be removed. They slide in and out from but can't seem to see how to disconnect them the reupholster them:huh:. Does anyone have any idea as to how they come out? The back rests have been removed it's the seats that are giving us the problem.

Thank you,
Justus

Mine are out of a 1985 Sundancer 34'. The dinette seat base is attached to the wall behind it by vertical pins that must be removed. They are located on each side of the base. You may need to further disassemble the seat to get to the pins holding the base in place. Mine has the ac compressor underneath it so to service the ac the seat must be removed.
