Does anyone have experience with the mid 90's 24ft Laguna Flush deck? I'm looking at one without a motor and was thinking of picking it up and slap a 225hp and a 25hp kicker on the back. How does it handle rough waters? Would this boat be the boat I want to be on if waves start to pick up?

I have an '88 Laguna 20 and I love it. I have a df 225 suzuki and it cruises at 34 knots at 3700 rpm and runs flat out at 44 knots at 5600 rpm@. Even for a 20 it seems very large and has much room. I go @ 12-15 miles offshore and the boat handles 5-6 ft seas pretty well, but hold on good. Going out of the sound, where the seas turn into swells tightly bundled together and choppy, this makes for an interesting ride, but it handles it well. I went out last weekend and was able to make it through the sound with 4-5 ft choppy whitecaps at 18 knots. The boat is great. A 24 should be really nice.
