Not patching a leak. What have is a couple of the glued on handles are starting to pull away. Bringing in house for winter, deflate so tubes are flat, squirt glue between handle and tube, put bricks / blocks on top to compress the handle to the tube until dry.
Question is, best glue for this application? 4200, 5200, vinyl repair, something else?

Depends on the type of material. There are specific glues for pvc and for hypalon. Use a 2 part glue and pay attention to the expiration dates.

They also each have specific prep requirements and solvents to use. Do the repairs in low humidity. The flies are very sensitive to humidity in the air and last much much longer if done when the air is dry. Don’t do it in a rainy day or damp basement.

All that said, the right glues are expensive. Bring a tissue to wipe your watering eyes when they ring you up. But it’s really what you need for a decent repair.

Hey Fireman…
I got that HH66. Today I fixed the black things that were coming loose from the tubes. Worked perfect. Thanks for the tip. It’s in our addition. You’d be surprised how much room a 7’6” zodiac takes up when inflated indoor.

Yep I'm very impressed with it!
