hi
so what pump is in the bow under a locker mirror on a 1995 29'. and why would the pump stay on when the dc power is switched on ?

A water pump for an anchor washdown? Might be staying on because it is not connected to the water tank, the tank is empty, or there is a leak. It needs to build up pressure to work the pressure switch to turn off the pump. Just a couple of guesses.
