I have a SeaRay 320 with the SeaRay Systems monitor. It displays continuously "Pump Alarm Forward Sump". The forward sump appears to be working properly and when manually activated reads forward sump emergency on. Any ideas on why or how to disconnect it or reset it?

Below is a diagram of your shower sump area. You have two pumps there. The shower sump pump is inside the box that catches the shower water and the ac condensate and pumps it overboard. This is a normal operation and the system monitor displays (but doesn’t sound an alarm) when this is happening. Right now Your system monitor thinks that is always pumping. So most likely the pump has failed and shorted internally, causing the message.

The pump outside the box is the emergency sump pump and is used to pump out water that has overflowed the sump box or leaked into the cabin area from somewhere else. If you get this alarm/display on the System Monitor then there is a problem causing water collection there, triggering the pump.

Thanks a bunch for the guidance. I will check the shower pump out tomorrow.

You are going to learn to hate that thing. I'm on my 4th one in 16yrs.

Looks like 2 different pump's to me? @ZZ13

Thanks everyone. I replaced the float switch and pump in the shower box and the error message went away.

This is a great site.

That pump must have been running continuously. I'd consider replacing it as well - or at least have a spare on hand.

I replaced the pump as well. It was bad.
