Hi everyone. I have a 95 Sea Ray Laguna 21 love the boat but can't stand the pulpit. How much do you guys think it would cost to remove it would have to be cut off I'm assuming fiberglass and gelcoat work?

What is it that you don’t like that would warrant the expense and invasive nature of the job?

And would make it look like you had the boat in a major collision and had the damage repaired, which will decrease the value. If you really want a boat like a Laguna without a pulpit, you would be better off selling the Laguna and buying something else.

I agree. Considering the age of the boat you would probably be better off selling it and buying one that better suits your needs.
The Laguna’s are nice boats, I love the 21’s and wouldn’t mind having one myself, but there are a lot of nice boats out there that might be more to your liking.

Yeah, that would be not smart. Lagunas are in big demand.

Plus its a two part system that would structurally kill it. I just did a total restore on a 91 21' and have schematics from SeaRay.

Here is a picture of the pulpit with under side removed for gel coating. I did drop in a windless.

If you're going to go to all that trouble ....put a hinge in it to recoup some of the cost when paying for overnight dockage :)

Been busy for the past couple months thanks for the replies I just thought the pulpit made it look older I was going to remove the pulpit and bow rails. I probably won't fool with it.

Excellent Decision!
