Want to replace the "radiator" caps on the cooling tanks on top of the engines, (5.7 Mercs). Anyone know the psi? Thanks

14 PSI... according to Mercruiser service manual #17
16 PSI... according to Mercruiser service manual #24

3 years ago I replace the 14 psi caps on my Crusaders with stainless 7psi caps. Think about it. Marine engines run at much lower temps than car engines. Radiator caps raise the boiling point of the coolant. The lower psi caps are more than adequate and are less likely to cause gasket problems in the FWC side of the system. Mine have been fine ever since.

I appreciate you guys! Will purchase soon.
