Hello, one more question from a new boater please. The 1997 330 Sundancer that I purchased came with 100% brand new Mr Minus Dymex 1.5" 17x17 bronze props (2), two 1.5"x 63-3/4 SS Shafts and also the struts, seals and couplers. I thought I would put the shiny new props on and sell the other parts. Problem is, my 330DA has all 1-1/4" parts down there. According to Sea Ray, the changed to 1-1/2" mid production, after my boat was produced.

Can anyone think of a good reason why I should spend a day + labor to replace all the lower parts with 1.5"? I think my options are: If it aint broke, dont fix it...it has been operating fine as is for 16+ years, existing props do not even have a nick in them. Try to sell the parts...these parts are expensive, but I cannot see a huge demand out there (most likely an insurance claim if someone needs shafts, struts, seals...I could probably easily get some money for the props. Or, hold the parts...recover from the initial boat outlays and replace the parts in the off season. Any advice out there is greatly appreciated! Thanks for your thoughts!

If you have 1.25 shafts the 1.5 will never fit with out changing trans shaft tube you are just a talking several thousand maby 8 to 9 or a lot more just sell them.
