I have a 2004 260 Sundancer with Bravo 3 & 350 MPI 300HP
It now has 300 hours and the dealer says that for the 200 hr service and every 100 hrs/1 year therafter I should replace plugs, rotors, dist cap. This seems excessive since they did not replace these items till the 200 hr service and now want to do it every 100 hrs. Please provide suggestions on the regularly scheduled mainteance on this engine/outdrive. It is used in Salt Water but is flushed after every use and keep in a High & Dry in FL.

You can get the manual via sea ray's website. I have my plugs, distributor cap, rotor, oil, oil filter, fuel filter changed out every year or 100 hours whichever comes first. As for the outdrive, gear lube should be changed out and well as having an engine alignment to be checked out. That's all I can think of right now but if you do a search, i believe PWM marine dealer had a link for a list of schedule maintenance.
