Prop Shaft leakage

While winterizing my 330 DA this past weekend, I noticed water coming out of the hull around the propshaft as well as the under water exhaust port. Is this normal? Does the water keep the propshaft seal cool?

The shaft seals are cooled by engine exhaust water, so if you ran the engines during winterization, you should expect to see water flowing from both the shaft tube and the exhaust ports under the hull.
