I pulled the props today off my Alpha I drives. Anyone have recommendations on where in the Baltimore or DC area to send them for refurbishment? I am not against sending them out of the area, but prefer local.

Thanks for the help
Jeff

I am not sure about I/O props. But two places locally that jump to mind are:

Black Dog down on Kent Island and Miller Island Propeller

Miller Island did our props and I had no issues. I have heard good recommendations around black dog's work.

Are your props the original black aluminum ones? Our old 280 with Alpha 1 drives had the 17" Magnum Stainless Props and they performed wonderfully. Best upgrade to the boat!!

Millers Island did mine last year. They did a fine job. I was expecting just a "repair" job when I dropped them off. I was pleasantly suprised to see that they polished them to a very nice shine as well. My boat sits on a rack and I like the "bling" factor.

I recommend them.

I called Black Dog about 2 years ago and they told me that they only did "big" props. Do they work on Bravo III props now? Did I get bad information?
