prop overspeed.

I have a 95 200 br /with the mercruiser 5.0 & alpha one outdrive. Today I spun about & the prop overspeed, I pulled back on the throtle, then I only had minimum forward thrust,--when I would give it more it sounded like it was slipping--what did I break $$$--thx chad.

You broke your prop! Actually, you broke the rubber bushing in the prop hub. It is commonly called a "spun prop." They can be replaced/repaired by most prop shops.
