Prop condition question

Hi,

Wondering about these nibral props. They have a shallowly-pitted surface. Not really sure what's going on.

* Is this galvanic corrosion or just paint?
* Can they be used as-is or should they be reconditioned?
* Are they toast?

Hard to tell without a close-up view, but that appears to be paint that is coming off the prop. I don't see pits or dimples in the metal. I would suggest having them serviced, as the uneven surface will degrade performance. One of the clues that leads me to believe it's paint is that you see more "wear" on the leading edges of the prop from where they are cutting through the water.

You're dead right, and I'm slapping myself for missing it: it's on the leading edges, and on the other prop too. Clear as day. I'll get them serviced. Thanks!
