With all the wood dock splinters, bolts, rebar, rocks, etc, what steps do you take to prevent punctures when docking your inflatable?
If on a visiting dock, it's considered courteous to tie up only by a decently long bow line. That lets more dinghies tie up vs. a side tie. At my home dock I use a couple small fenders hung horizontally at the dock, connected with a section of line.
You for sure right. Never gonna get back in the carry bag again. It’s going to stay inflated on a rack at marina then come home inflated put in sunroom for winter. Doubt it will ever roll up again. Gotta say the quality is so much better than previous one. I am impressed. Maiden voyage, out at Crazy Tuna now.
It’s home, done for the day. Observation- the tubes are bigger than last one so almost no lean (ok, list for you particular guys). But it feels slower. More drag from bigger tubes? Will track with phone GPS tomorrow.
