Power Trim Issue

I have a 185 Sport with the 4.3L 6 cylinder. My engine trims down fine but when I trim it up for docking it only comes back up about 2/3 and cuts out. Is there an adjustment for this? I just got this boat and I could not find anything in the manuals to address this. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Make sure the reservoir is full of fluid for the trim pump. What do you mean cuts out? Does the motor cut off? Or does the motor run but the drive isn't all the way up?

On the trim switch there is a safe limit and you have to press the trailer switch to go all the way up. It may be a double switch, or it may be separate.
