Looking at a 2006 Crownline 250. Read the survey report from 2013 when the current owners bought it and it mentions no power steering. How hard are these to drive with no power steering? It has a Merc if that matters. I have looked at the boat but the batteries are disconnected and I couldn't open the engine hatch to see in there. Supposed to meet up with the owner to go over it again but just curious as to how hard they are to steer with no PS? Don't want to feel like I'm driving a big ole 60's Buick...lol

I think you are right. The hatch was propped up by a 2x4 so they could grab it to open it but without power assistance it was very heavy and I couldn't lift it by myself and look inside so I held my phone in the engine bay and recorded. Just went back and watched the video and the is a PS pump on the engine so may have misread the survey report.

On the other hand this is a 2006 Merc 5.7 and it is not fuel injected...lol
