Post your boat's name

This is no lie - there is a Doral in our place named "Sofa King Happy II." I didnt get it - someone had to explain it to me. as you try to figure it out, keep in mind that the owner is NOT in the business of furniture at all. (say the name really fast 5 times in a row, but not in front of your kids).

Anyone get it?? :smt043

I am NOT making this up.

CARUS- Latin for dear, beloved, expensive. Works for the boat and the wife.

Never named my 26. We had a lot of ideas but never settled on one. My 31 is called L'eau Ambition. L'eau is French for "the water", and is pronounced as "low". The only connection to France is that my wife and I met in a French class in college, and we like the mnemonics of the name.

Never Enough

As in, never enough time, never enough money, ect.... We let our kids name the last boat, "Play With Me" and this time it was mom and dads turn to pick the name. We were sitting at Chuckie Cheese (of all places) talking about things in general when my wife made the comment to one of the kids "it's never enough is it." I looked at her and said "that's it...that's the new boat name."

Thanks Wesley......

heh.... Sofa King... I probably could have gotten that a lil faster if I'd had a couple of brewskis first.

Friend of ours has a Trojan cruiser... anyone guess the name of his boat??

"The Protector"

I know I know its spose to be OUR boats.....ok sorry...getting off topic..

Two boats have been named Stray Cats for my wife and I are rarely in one place for very long during the week. We are both cat lovers, and our furry 4 legged son doesn't approve when we are gone on weekends during boating season. >^..^<

This is only done in photo shop. Seeing how the upholster has had the boat for 3 months. It was named after the Brad Paisley song, not for being wasted':smt101' like some friends have thought!!
What do you guys think when you read it?????
I don’t really like names related to drinking. Don’t want to draw looks ''from the water patrol. In that slim chance I have been.

I like it! I see it in a different way than :smt101

if i had a trojan, i'd name it "Ribbed For Her Pleasure."

Here is my story of the name that I came up with for our boat. I have had a boat for nearly 18 years, but it was only a 18 foot aluminum and did inland Michigan lakes (bunches around here!). When I first got into boating, I never even thought about "naming" a boat. We bought a boat with a name on it all ready for the first season with a cruiser on Lake Michigan. I thought then that we gotta come up with our own name. We pondered the name for a long while, but my first name was one that I liked. I am an electrician, and thought "Doin' it without shorts" was a good one. But the wife said "absolutely not!".. So on went the name search. I was mentioning the delema on a name to my daughter and she sugestted using the first letter of each of my grandkids (four kids) in the order that they came. Ok.. that might work.. My two kids and my wifes name all start with the letter "J" so it was natural to add that give it a ring to it. So the name was deemed "Dara J". All the important people in my life are duly noted in the name, and it has a "she" sounding name for a boat. Still kind of partial to the name "Doin' it without shorts" though. Maybe my next boat!

We used the names, too. First 2 letters of each name came out Kamero, which sounded like the car (Camaro). We added the second "o" because the wife liked it, and the rest is history...

Yeah but I like it. It's a great name. I also Like Brad Paisley. good call.

We have been considering the upgrade this year to a 260DA and we have wonderd whether she'll be Nehallennia III or think of a new name.

actually, if the trojan had a dingy on davits, and it was a "rigid inflatable boat" you could call the dink "Rib for her Pleasure"

Valhalla; for Norse Heaven. Since my wife and I both have some Norwegian background it seemed like a great choice.

My original name was going to be "Ex-Ray Vision" as I was previously employed by Sea Ray. Great place to work but not if you want your own boat. Hence, the vision to go into business with my father...

It took too long to explain so I went with "Rebbel Yell" as a play on my name. In a creative moment for my vinyl guy and a lack of foresight on my part, we went with a stars/bars pattern for the name. I raise too many eyebrows and will probably be switching, the pattern at least, with the new boat...
