Just a little dirt and rock moving
She's old but we have a dedicated staff that keeps her running in excellent shape.
I bet it is more reliable than PLC's!!Nope. We are being dragged "kicking and screaming" into the 90's. The saying we like to use is "50's components, designed in the 60's, built in the 70's operated in the 21st century".
In all fairness the cost associated with upgrading anything is pretty high because it has to meet the NRC's high standards for QA/QC. She's old but we have a dedicated staff that keeps her running in excellent shape. The old stuff works fine it's just..... Old.

TEST QUESTION:
With out Nick spilling the beans, can anyone identify what the lines between the switches are?
Shhhh Nick......
At BPA we call Nick a sub-station operator.......
It's probably "flow" but is it necessarily "process flow? The lines typically indicate process flow...
"Process flow" is a term used for any process... it does not define the type of process. It could be anything from aggregate in a stone plant to waste water in a treatment plant or uranium in a nuclear plant where the switches and knobs affect the flow. It's probably "flow" but is it necessarily "process flow?
