Sorry for being such a newbie, but what is the protocol for forum posts adequately answered. Should they be cancelled or deleted? If so, how? Thanks

Nope, just leave them there for the benefit of others that may have the same question in the future. But a thank you to the answerer would, I'm sure, be appreciated.

You can, and should, do a search if you have a question about something before you post.

The ability to search previous postings is one of the real values of a forum like CSR, so by all means your previous questions and answers should remain in the database.

That also means all your misspelled words and grammatical mistakes hang around as well. I try to write in complete sentences without abbreviations and as few references to time sensitive events as possible for a reason.........Tiger Woods'/Jesse James displays of lunacy might be humorous this Spring, but a year from now, nobody will care and some won't remember and many will wonder what you are talking about.

Also, it is best to stay on the topic subject. Many threads wander all over creation especially after the jokesters try to make a broken boat or someone's lack of knowledge funny. When that happens, the ability to search CSR for real information is pretty much defeated.

Glad you found CSR.........enjoy the wealth of knowledge there is here.

And a lot of people will pick on you if you make a spelling mistake, just try to ignore those people...
