Port Switch Keypad Intermittent Operation

The port switch keypad (PN:1797300) on my 2011 350 Sundancer works sometimes and other times it takes multiple presses to get the buttons to light up. This keypad was replaced by the dealer a year ago for the same issues. Very frustrating when running in the bay crossing shipping channels during a storm and no sure if navigation lights are working.

Since the switch keypad was previously replaced; could the problem I am having be caused by a faulty Electronic Interface Module (EIM)?

Lest`s see. A computer interface in a wet enviorment. Yep ,EIM could be failing
May be time to hard wire the switches
