I forgot to switch to shore power when I returned from an outing Sunday. Monday the port engine low voltage warning showed up. The engine would not start. With emergency start the engine would start and then stall immediately. I ran on one engine and towards the end of the trip I retried to start the port engine and it wouldn't start at all - no cranking even with emergency start engaged. The batteries are less than a year old.

I recharged everything last night but had to leave town very early today so I didn't get a chance to try it. Hopefully it is fine and I'm over-reacting.

Also, I have left shore power off over night and the batteries didn't drain all the way. I am running two refrigerators and a cooling drawer.

Any thoughts?

No thoughts until you report back on whether charging them solved the issue.
Two refrigerators and a drawer probably draw 12 amp/hours but not continuous. Most Grp 27/31 batteries have over 100 Ah capacity, so if you draw from one battery, your would draw it dead in less than a day assuming a 50% duty cycle on the fridges.

Have you been checking the water in the batteries? They dry out fast in FL. Other than that, 1 year old batteries should be able to keep those items you mentioned running overnight.

I would charge the batteries and test the alternator.

Another reason to get the engine start battery by its self and add more batteries to the house side.
You can afford to lose all house power but never all engine start power

It was odd hearing the emergency start function didn't work.

I did the same as you by not having the battery charger or AC converter as it's labeled in the "ON" position and I killed the house/port engine battery.

Using the emergency start button the port engine fired right up.

Definitely check the health of your batteries and your charging equipment.
