Hey guys/gals. 1994 350EB. 7.4l Bluewaters, v-dives, thunderbolt IV ignition. Just had a tune-up Plugs, wires, rotor, cap., timing set, carbs adjusted. Starts and idels fine. Took it out for a test run on Wednesday, ideled out of marine, put it up on plane ran fine at 3200rpm, all gages normal. Made a turn to port and the port engine rpm dropped off and heard a couple of backfires. Put it in idle and the port engine would surge and the tach was erractic. Gave it some gas and it seemed to be ok. Got back to port and shut it down and it started up again with no problems. Changed the engine fuel filter, no water present. Drained the bulked fuel filter, no water present.
Took it out today ran fine like before. Made a turn to starboard this time and it did the same thing. This time the engine died and would not restart. Came in on one engine and the port finally started just before docking. Anybody have any ideas, suggestions. etc. Carbs are Carter AFB with manual chock. Thanks. Mike
