twin 350 Mercruiser with V drives
New to boating. Just bought a 2006 320 Sundancer and have taken it out 5 or 6 times. The twin throttles on the R side of helm I've noticed the port engine idles around 400 RPM when pulled all the way back whereas the starboard engine idles around 550-600. Last time out the port engine was dying every time it was pulled all the way back. Is there some simple linkage I can use to adjust the port to make it idle at the same RPM as the other engine? I've also noticed that when cruising the port throttle has to be pushed up higher than the starboard throttle to maintain same RPM. Thanks

I'd say we need more information. Did you have it sea trialed and Marine surveyed? What did they say? Do you have maintenance records on the boat?

Thanks to all of you for responding. The boat was surveyed and sea trialed and it was fine then. This is new development. I will look into IAC first I think.

Went out this past weekend and replaced the IAC valve after I found a couple videos on YouTube. Worked beautifully. Thanks again for the advice.
