Have a 2010 310 Sundancer with twin 5.7 , Batt. are 1-year old, not charging Port Batt. from alternator or on board charger, is there a relay ?

How have you verified that it's not charging?

Which port battery? Are there not two port batteries?

Do you have the battery charger breaker/switch turned on (main DC breaker panel)?

Could be a ground issue on the port bank.

First off check connections positive and negative with the battery. When the boat is running does the volt meter on the dash show around 14.5 volts? Check the batteries cell see if their dry if it is a wet battery if it is dry it's likely you had a short in the battery now it's open and will not charge.Remove the leads off battery in question take a voltage reading at the battery if there is zero volt on it it will not take a charge because a completely dead battery has no resistance there for it is a open circuit. A battery shop can check the battery and if it is still good they can get a completely dead battery charged again. The reason I'm leaning towards the battery or a bad connection is that its not charging on shore power or the alternator.
