Pop Off Valve Leaking on Water Heater?

Thanks to everyone, you're description to the part was right on ( i picked one up at an RV store for $15.00) and the quick disconnect worked as the pictures show. The Pop Off valve is no longer leaking but I have a lot of water coming from under the water heater. I'm assuming I have a leaking tank. The wierd thing is is that the water pump is not cycling. I figure if the water heater is leaking that much the pump would continue to run? An I wrong or do I ahve a different problem?

Thanks again for all of your help!

I had the same reaction. I placed paper towels on the deck around the heater to try and locate a leak. It must have been the insulation was saturated as it stopped in a day or two.

If the water heater is leaking the fresh water pump would continue to cycle right? I've never used the heater (since it's 95 deg. here) but the fresh water flows through the water heater all the time correct? I searched this site regarding water heaters leaking and most psts come up with the enigne water (raw water) hose leaking. This is not the case, it seemed to be leaking with the mortors off and just the fresh water pump on.
