pontoon style ladder on the back of 260 sundeck

Has anyone put a pontoon style ladder on a 260 sundeck. my friends are getting older an thinking about replacing my existing ladder (since it is wore out ) with one to make easier to get back on board for the old folks. any suggestions, pictures or pros and cons? Thanks

The pontoon ladders that I'm aware of also have secondary legs resting against the pontoon for added support. It would take some added bracing to make it work, but it could be done. However, it's probably better/easier to just install a removable handrail. Since the bottom of your platform is "open", it's easy enough to access for thru-bolting. A socket can be put in the platform, then a vertical handrail can be dropped into/out of the socket. You can buy these - or even have a local welding shop make something custom for that drops into a standard rod holder.

Cushions for weight lifting bars fit over my treads with great effort but have helped ease foot pain and complaints considerably. A short, large knotted rope dangles from the ski hitch.
