Political Posts! Please read

Political Posts need to go in the Holding Tank at the bottom of the site. Putting them anywhere else will get you placed into "Banned Camp" until the election is over. No if's and's or but's.

I like the "Holding Tank" for discussions on hot button issues but one thing I have noticed is the system logs me out frequently and I am not aware of new posts in the "Holding Tank". Is there a way to let the user know if they are indeed logged into the "Holding Tank"? Could the "Holding Tank" headers be shown but you must log in to see the posts?

Most posts I have made to the "Holding Tank" have had few views, I suspect due to most users not being loged in to see them.

Most people do not want to see those threads. This is a boating forum after all. But some users insisted we provide a place for them. Its hardly a CSR thing. Every forum is like this. So by having the Holding Tank set up the way it is, the posts do not show up when you search for new posts. You literally have to go into the holding tank to see them. This is a happy medium. Now when somebody posts a political post outside of the holding tank then lots of users report it and us mods have to weed through this stuff to move them and clean things up. Not really fair to us since there is already a section for these posts.

Since the political season is really heating up I assume there will be plenty more of these posts. It is a pretty simple concept (not directed at you MM) to just keep them where they belong. If they do not get many views, its because most people come here to read about boating.

What constitutes a political post? I would say one that makes any reference to politics.
