Anyone ever try this stuff called Poliglkow on their gelcoat. I was at a boat show and saw a demo. Curious if anyone ever tried it and would like to hear about the results.

I never tried it but I have read enough threads about it on other boating boards to know it's a quick way to bring back the shine on faded and dull fiberglass. I like to think of it much the same way as I do floor wax or varnish. It will cover over what you see and bring a nice shine but the underlying problem is still there. Others have commented on the difficulty in removing it.

Personally, if my boat's finish was in bad enough shape to think of using Poli Glow, I would rather do it right. That means it really needs to be wet sanded, compounded, polished, and then protected with a good quality wax or polymer. Here is a good article from Motor Boating Magazine that covers that procedure. http://www.motorboating.com/motorboat/features/article/0,12696,1123543,00.html
