I'll be in the area for a couple of weeks if anyone want to meet I'll probably be board in the evenings and weekend. It's a business trip.

Looks like there are lots of nice lakes. I will be without car/boat.

Is there anything I should see while I'm there I've never been up that far north.

HAHA! I thought about going to a game but I fly in on the 23rd and the game is on the 21st and I fly out on the 4th and the game is that day. Tickets are only $6 when I checked.

Brett is actually in Eden Prairie and not Mankato. They are done there already.

There is a lot to see in the Minneapolis area and the lakes area. I can not say as I have not been there for a long time as a tourist.

Get out to Lake Minnetonka.
See the sights.
Go to Wyzata on the lake for a nice little town with good restaurants.
If you get a chance go to Lord Fletchers for an evening drink and dinner.
Lots of boats come there every afternoon and evening.
Great times.
Locals refer to it as ' Lord Letchers '

I have spent a lot of time up there.
Relatives have homes on the lake.

There are many fine restaurants on the lake and a few have dinner cruises.
Al & Almas is a good one......think Minnesota Vikings cruise a few years ago.

Morpheus -- shoot me a PM with your email address and let me know the dates you will be in town. The weather has been unusually crappy for August but I'll see if I can find an evening to take you for a cruise on Minnetonka. You'll be staying in one of the nicer areas of the Twin Cities and your about 15 mins from everything.
