Hi thanks in advance for giving me any advice. I love this boat and I want to try tro give a face lift were I can.
Couple questions.
The gold 1/4 inch trim molding on kitchen counter edge as well as the cabinet really dates the boat. I want to replace it with brushed nickel color but the area below the microwave and coffee maker hide where it is fastened. Had anyone replaced this if so where did you get trim and how did you removed it. I see that it is aluminum so if need be I can careful and sand gold off of it but it would be difficult.
Lights all over the cabin ceiling are gold and chrome 3" fixture, how do I remove them and has anyone found a nice replacement..

I want to rip out cabin Carpet and replace with a glue down wood or laminate but I would like to know what people use as thickness and what and how to trim the area that trim the edge of bathroom entrance that is like a carpet floor molding.
The steps are already thick so do I need remake a step with finish wood or layer on top and trim the edge of step.

Has anyone removed helm ice well container next to sink to make a garbage bein access? Or better yet where can I store manga bbq for Weil acess.
I have my own ideas about this stuff but reading these forums leads me to believe your help would give me a better idea than just fishing in the dark. Thanku

This is what I used in my 410DA. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Schlute...-2-in-Metal-Tile-Edging-Trim-A100AT/202022523 I cut the spine off the back of it make it more flexible, and then drilled holes prior to screwing it in. There's quite a few options at HD. Under the counter it was nailed if I remember, and above I had to pry the black trim off first.

Thanks for the advice. Is the trim that is hidden under microwave screw in as well, and did you have to remove those panels to have acess to those screw

I just looked up your model on YW, and it would appear so. The trim on top, and bottom of the upper cabinets in your case is "usually" held in by those Christmas tree fasteners. Be patient, and pry carefully.

I left my trim alone. I have the light cabinetry, and Aurora Corian pattern. Still works for me.
I have a ton of pics on pulling the carpet and laying Allure vinyl plank. It's waterproof. I can save you 20-30 hours if you want to buy my scrim floor template. PM me if that interests you. Wherever your floor might be a bit different, you can cut it or add to it easily. I was able to build the entire floor outside of the boat, and install it in 3 pieces. In my case, I left the vertical carpeted "base board" alone. I also left the steps alone while contemplating the best way to trim the edge when I do lay flooring on them. I am about ready to do that project next month.
Our boats are a year apart, so there may be some differences in the cockpit. I have been storing my Magma rectangular grille between the engines in the bilge. Behind the helm seat is another possibility. That's a good idea about a drop in garbage can in the wet well behind the sink. We never use that now. Have to check plumbing below for clearance, or re-routing.
Search for my posts about flooring and other modifications. And join the Sport Yachts/370 Sundancer Official Thread if you haven't already. Thousands of great ideas there.

My previous owner ripped out the original carpet and glued Plasteak (https://www.plasteak.com/) to the floor. It turned out really nice and has held up even better. I can take pictures this weekend and send them to you if interested. Send me a PM and I will send you some info. He posted his progress in the 370 Sundancer thread if you want to read about what he went through. Look up posts from "ThewolfTC". I think his floor posts start someplace around the page 70-80 mark on that forum.
