Pizza thread

There was a place at the Jersey Shore that made a killer clam pizza, it was loaded with baby clams and garlic slices.

Ninos’ coal fired pizza in Toms River offered that, not sure if that’s what you’re thinking. It was excellent

Nah, it was Mercurios in Tuckerton, But I know Nino, He had a great little restaurant in RT 9 just south of LBI and also had the pizza joint in TR.

never got down to Tuckerton much. Usually when I was down there it was to go to The Oyster Creek Inn a little further south in Leeds Point. Definitely worth the trip from almost anywhere

if I ever visit (not likely) I’ll try to check it out

Yesterday I start this thread.
Today doctor appointment. Need to lose 7 pounds, so no more pizza til I do.
Life is not fair.
Only seven pounds? You can sweat that out after an hour in a steam room.

the excessive drinking of beer during the pandemic has blimped me out to 225 from 205. I’m 6’1 and my doctor told me to get myself in gear and knock off the beer.

So, sitting at corner bar, guys at end talking who makes best local cheese pizza. Got me thinking.
Who the hell orders a plain cheese pizza?
Do you?
What is your preference? Anchovies lovers welcome!
Hawaiian lovers go away. Just fkn go. It’s not pizza. Go eat spam.
Lots of good pizza in the Chicago area. We like it all, but thin crust is what we order. Live in the burbs and really like Aurelio’s Pizza. Sausage/Mushroom or Sausage/Pineapple. “Super Six” is killer, Sausage, Pepperoni, Ham, Mushrooms, Green Pepper and of course cheese. Lately if I want it spiced up I add Pepperoncini to a Sausage pie. Three Floyd’s Zombie Dust to wash it all down.

A place near me makes a clam pizza that people rave about. We tried it, it was so rich about 1 slice is all any of us could manage. Its basically a stuffed clam pie - all the butter, breading, garlic and clams from a baked clam spread on a pizza. Tasted amazing for the first 1/2 slice, then the insane richness kicked it and it was overload.

This is the closest any pineapple dare get near my pizza!

I think I’m going to ask for one of these on my birthday. It’s a pizza oven that fits on my pellet grill. Supposedly it gets up too 800 degrees.

I am 6'3", 55 years old, and fluctuate between 195lbs and 205lbs. I can literally lose 5lbs in one day without trying. I go to the gym 1-2x a week, play tennis 2-3x a week. Hoping this trend continues for a while because I do love to eat, and I love my sweets. If I cut back on the carbs, which is mostly breads for me, I lose weight quickly. I have found a direct correlation between my eating and stress/anxiety. When I am stressed/anxious, I eat more.

We had Sicilian style Friday night. First 2 pieces were good, then I wanted my New York style back.

The next one! As long as it's not a light beer. Life is too short for light beer.

I see you’re in Cape Coral.

what’s your favorite pizza spot around here? So far Downtown House of Pizza in Fort Myers and Maria’s on SE 46th are the best 2 I’ve found
