So my vessel view says that my pitot sensor pressure is low. I have 6.2l Horizon engines with v-drives. I didn't think my boat had a pitot sensor, I thought only I/O's had them! I was thinking there must be a plug at the end of a harness somewhere with some water in it. Any ideas?

If you scan your engine you will get a few errors for options you don't have. I get four fault codes, one of them being pitot sensor, i can remember the other three. I was confused the first time i scanned my engines also. I don't think there is any way to keep it from appearing g on each scan.

The problem is it is coming up as a alarm on vessel view, not just in a scan. I have the scan tool, and tried to erase it and it will not erase, so I think it is a constant fault.

I called Mercruiser tech support and they where very helpful, they gave me the location of the wire in the harness, they also suggestion and told me how to reset all the sensors. I guess with v-drives, it uses the same harness for the rudder angle sensor. My rudder angle sensor was working fine so I reset the sensors and the alarm is gone. I have used the boat 3 times since then and it has not returned. I wish all fixes where this easy, and cheap!

Bryan, can you share the location in the harness, I cannot get my pitot fault to stay off. Thank you
