Yeah - go back to last year and stock up!:smt001

But seriously, Rod, no - we didn't get as big of a discount for our winterizing supply as we normally get, either.

Rod, I'm sure you know this, but for anyone "new" to winterizing: Be sure to get the pink stuff made from propylene glycol as not all pink is created equal. Other kinds will actually cause corrosion in your engine.

Edit: the one in the link, above, is the correct one.

Just bought at Meijers for 2.95

Found it here for $3.99 A GAL. I never bought anything from this place but it may be worth a look, they offer free shipping on online orders.
And I think you would rather drink a gallon of this stuff rather than hooking up with a Tunnel Bunny.:smt043

The Camco in the link above is a reputable brand name. They have in the past offered it with a mint fragrance. It made the RV smell good in the spring. My quess is the last couple of years some shops may have bought up overstock from others hurting or going out of business. I saw that here. As a result manufacturers may cut back production and now old stock may be gone creating strong demand there by increasing the price. MM

Yes - very reputable - been around for a long time. Just as an FYI, the "smell good" one is, I believe, called Arctic Ban - it should not be used in engines as it contains ethanol. It's only for water systems.

Had not checked that out as I can't seem to find it locally any more. I did see it on a site and have confirmed it has ethanol. I ONLY like my corn with melted butter and salt!!! Not in my boat!!! Thanks Dennis, MM

WM - $4.99 on sale, order online (freeship to store) and get 10% off (code AFFWEST), and $1 rebate = $3.50.

Was wandering around the Walmart in Brick two weeks ago and found tons of the supertech stuff on the end cap. Marked $3.79/gallon in those huge walmart numbers. Took it to the register and it rang up as $3.97. I told her the sign said $3.79 so they rang it up for $3.79 (all 15 gallons).

They pulled the same crap last year - not sure if someone over there is dyslexic or if it's some sort of bait & switch scheme.

Pink ethanol? Isn't that a Vodka-cranberry?

It's $3.97 at the Wally World in Holmdel..... oh my mistake! There isn't any Wally World in Holmdel, the Zip Code is too Expensive!!

Wise arse. Us po' folk have to do our own winterization - unlike you upper crusties who just write the check and tell the hired help to "keep a little something for yourself." ;-)

Well next year.... when I'm next to you in GCM you can show me How It's Done!!! By the Way, how did you get 15 gallons in the Suuuubaahroooooo?

Sure thing! Tuition on DIY boating is $2500 for the fall semester. I think I had the Pilot.
