pier 6

I have a friend that lives down the street and said he thinks we can tie up and meet them for drinks and dinner.

Does anybody know who to contact? Is it a marina run place? Can you tie up for 4-6 hours ?

If you're talking about Pier 6 in Charlestown/Boston Harbor, that would be, what was the Shipyard Quarters Marina. That Marina has been condemend and closed. I was a member there and absolutely loved it and was crushed when they closed it. I think the slips and docks are roped and taped off.

oh, well that sucks. i was talking about that place. my friend lives down the street but he was under the imprression that you could tie up and eat/drink.

Is it the place off to port as you cruise to mystic fuel? If so, looks horrid. Such a shame...great spot.

My buddy had a boat there years ago. Oh the fun we had with the Bar right up top !!!!!
